What are my options if I decide to reroof?
You have 2 basic options. You can choose a complete replacement, involving a tear off of the old roof or a re-cover of the existing roof, involving only the installation of a new membrane and surfacing. If you’ve already had a re-cover over your original roof, contact us to see if your deck can support a second cover.
How do I know I need a new roof?
Some of the signs you may need a new roof are:
– Missing, cracked, or curled shingles
– Blistering or peeling paint
– High Energy Bills
– Leaks in the attic after heavy rains
– Shingle, sheathing, or siding decay.
– Stains on interior walls or ceiling.

What Can I do if I spot mildew on my roof?
Many home improvement stores sell mildew cleaners that can be applied to your roof with a sprayer to take care of the mildew. They shouldn’t damage your roof in any way. Of course, if there’s a lot, you may want to have it professionally cleaned (and yes ARS does Roof Cleaning)!
